How to complain to BT and win!

The Written Complaint

We were not able to write a complaint letter straight away. Instead, I put together a letter to the BT DSAR department, requesting them to supply me with all personal details that they held about us, and in particular, requesting the calls which Anurag had promised me were available.

You should be aware that a DSAR costs £10 to request. That amount is regulated by the ICO. It may seem a lot, but it all depends on how much you are being unfairly asked for, and how much you want to prove that BT are lying to you.

Once the DSAR response had arrived (see the DSAR section), I pretty much had everything I needed to prove that BT were just trying to take us for mugs.
